South By Southwest (SXSW) Music and Media Conference is the world’s leading music industry event. The festival brings in the absolute best mix of musical performances from all over the world. Face had the opportunity to perform and headline 4 nights @ Keybar right onto 6th Street, in the heart of Austin’s historic entertainment district.
Styleweek is a nationally recognized biannual fashion week focused on the business of fashion. StyleWeek is a true celebration of style and culture, which includes both formal fashion shows and community-wide events.
As resident DJ for StyleWeek Face was responsible for providing the music for the entire week which included music for the runway, pre/post shows and closing parties. He worked with the designers individually selecting and mixing music that would compliment their fashion line and overall performance of their runway shows.

Asked back 3 consecutive years in a row to play this annual formal event. In 2011 after playing a high-energy patriotic set, 3 senior high-ranking commanders presented Face with a military challenge coin because of his performance and asked “would I come back to play next year”. This coin is a symbol of honor, respect, gratitude and loyalty, it is not often given to people outside of the military. Having no military background this is one of the nicest compliments he has received and needless to say looking forward to rocking our Armed Forces for many years to come.
Highlights include performing for many national sporting events, playing at some of the hottest clubs in the country, sharing the stage with Grammy nominated artists, celebrity movie premiers and a residency on Killington (VT) Mountain spinning for the nation’s largest ski and snowboarding competitions, including the Dew Tour.

We used Tim aka The Face Show for our wedding DJ just a few weeks ago and people are still raving about what a great party it was, thanks to the music! Tim put on a quite a party, that we didn’t want to leave the dance floor. I loved that he was able to fit in so many of our favorites in such a short time frame. I was so impressed.

I first heard DJ Face play at a popular spot in Newport, RI. Soon after he started My fiance and I looked at each other and said “this guy needs to play at our wedding”. We flew him into Orlando. He was fully accommodating and facilitated an amazing dance party and made are amazing day that much better wedding. He is worth every cent! Book him now! HUGE thumbs up!!!
We cannot say ENOUGH good things about DJ Face. He is incredibly talented, loves what he does and his positive attitude just fills a room. He managed to keep our guests dancing their butts off until midnight and we would have continued had our venue allowed us to! He’s just a great person to be around and was so accommodating. He even did an impromptu after-hours set until 3 AM back at the hotel. The Best!
DJ Face is amazing – I have had a ton of compliments from my guests ever since our wedding this past summer. He is a true DJ – he knows the best parts of each song and he flawlessly transitioned from one song to another. Newport was our destination wedding – but if I could persuade him to travel to our home state, I would hire him for every event that I have coming up. I have never been happier working with someone, especially since I was planning this wedding from afar.
